While most people are bundling up to stay warm this December, residents of Chicago’s Boystown stripped to their skivvies to participate in the city’s 7th annual Santa Speedo Run.

“The Race for Naughty and Nice” found over 200 Santas in their underwear on Saturday as they sang “Jingle Balls” to a crowd of over 1,000 spectators before before taking off on a mile run in the cold.

Proceeds from the event went to Center on Halsted’s “Get to Zero” program, which is working with the Chicago Department of Public Health to eliminate new HIV infections while fighting to ensure that everyone living with HIV in Illinois receives treatment by 2027.

Saturday’s race was record-setting for the event, having more runners and spectators than any year prior. The race also raised over $70,000, the highest amount collected since the annual run began.
